Ice Fishing and Snowmobile Excursion to Nunngarut (Bay of Two Rivers)
From January to May
Ice fishing and snowmobile excursion to Nunngarut « Bay of Two Rivers »
Combining the pleasure of driving your own snowmobile and going ice fishing, this program is a favourite for true fans of ice fishing. Leaving Iqaluit early in the morning to travel approximately 40 km, your snowmobile will glide across breathtaking scenery. Once you reach your destination, holes will be drilled in the ice, then it’s fishing time. While you try your luck at catching a prize fish, your guide could build you an individual snow wall and in no time at all, you will have a sheltered place to enjoy hot chocolate with your friends while fishing. Once the day is over, straddle your ride and head back on the return leg, on a path changed and sculpted by the strong tides.
