The Sylvia Grinnell River flows into the sea just 5 minutes from Iqaluit. Come spend a day outdoors! After a two-hour hike along the valley that surrounds the river, we will stop for a picnic. Following the meal, your experienced guide will instruct you in the basics of river canoeing. In our stable and easily manoeuvrable pneumatic canoes, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the river’s current. Ahead lie a series of Class I and II rapids and an afternoon of guaranteed thrills.
