Inukpak Outfitting

Inukpak (in Inuktitut, in the Inuit language) means “the giant”. You will grasp the meaning of this when you meet the company’s founder and owner! Since 2011, it has been our pleasure to offer truly memorable and powerful guided experiences, off the beaten path, throughout the Southern Baffin region in Nunavut – Canada’s Arctic. Our primary goal is to offer products and services tailored to your requirements, resulting in a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We strive to engage travellers with the Inuit culture, people and the Arctic geography in ways that are authentic and memorable.

Our products and services

Specializing in dog sledding, INUKPAK OUTFITTING offers a wide range of amazing guided services, such as snowmobiling, snow sailing, hiking, canoeing, sea kayaking and much more. Whether you are looking for a half-day adventure or a multi-day Arctic expedition, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned outdoor enthusiast, whether you’re looking for a peaceful adventure or a challenge to match your skills, we have everything you need, from head to toe! All our programs are offered as “turnkey solutions”.

Nunavut

A territory larger than life, Nunavut’s horizon stretches out to infinity. The indescribable beauty of the arctic landscape is the result of the last glacial era. Our land is made up of vast expanses of tundra, an immense ocean, small friendly towns and breathtaking natural scenery. Up here, the caribou pursue their ancestral migratory trails, and the polar bear is still king of the ice floe.

Iqaluit

The gateway to the North and the capital of Canada’s newest territory, Iqaluit welcomes you with open arms. Savvy travellers looking for unique adventures, business travellers, or families seeking meaningful experiences… everyone is welcome. Tucked away in the hills at the head of Frobisher Bay, you will feel welcome in this city of approximately 7000 inhabitants; Iqaluit feels like a small town, but offers many of the services of a larger city. Our city is a young one, and yet so rich in history, adventure and discoveries.
