Come discover the immensity of our region while sitting comfortably on a traditional qamutiik (traditional Inuit sled). Depending on snow and ice conditions, the dogs will run over the snow-covered tundra or the frozen ocean. Once we return to the kennel, you are welcome to take part in the daily routine of feeding and caring for the sled dogs. This is the perfect activity for your first dogsled outing, and you will get the chance to learn the basics of being a ‘musher.’

Discover dog sledding in this fully immersive experience. This package includes all the features of the single-day excursion, with a more in-depth exposure. In addition to sharing your day with the dogs, you will learn the basics of winter camping. Our expert guides will share their passion for the outdoors with you. Depending on the weather and time of year, you will sleep in one of our comfortable cabins, while the more adventurous can learn how to build an igloo. COMBO ACTIVITY – DOG SLEDDING AND SNOWMOBILING

LEVEL

The perfect activity for groups of 4, this offers you the best of both worlds… old and new. Two participants will depart on a dog sled with a guide, the remainder of the group will follow on snowmobiles. Both groups will meet up for the mid-break lunch. Following the break the groups switch positions, with the snowmobilers returning on the qamutiik (sled) and the other group experiencing the thrill of the snowmobile.

When a snowmobile is available per participant, you will be offered to drive your own if you wish so. Otherwise, two participants may have to share a double seating snowmobile and take turns for driving. A supplement can be paid, at the time of booking, to guaranty your access to your own snowmobile for the entire duration of the excursion/expedition, according to availability.

Driver must be an adult (19 years old+) w/ valid driver licence. If needed, participants may have to double up.
