Come discover the immensity of our region while sitting comfortably on a traditional qamutiik (traditional Inuit sled). Depending on snow and ice conditions, the dogs will run over the snow-covered tundra or the frozen ocean. Once we return to the kennel, you are welcome to take part in the daily routine of feeding and caring for the sled dogs. This is the perfect activity for your first dogsled outing, and you will get the chance to learn the basics of being a ‘musher.’

Combine cross-country skiing with dog sledding and you get a sport called Ski Joring! It’s the best way to take advantage of a unique experience in full symbiosis with our sled dogs. With the help of your guide, choose 1 or 2 dogs that will be attached to your harness, then step into your skis and you’re off to explore the frozen Frobisher Bay with your guide.
