Leave a trail in the snow where no one else has passed. With your local guide, you can explore Iqaluit and its surroundings on skis or snowshoes. Discuss the flora and fauna while you head out on the snowy tundra. Whether you’re between two meetings, have a few free hours or a full day, take advantage of your stay in the Capital to experience the real Far North.

Set out on a mini-expedition, and ski with your guide over the sea ice, tundra, valleys and rocky crests to our nearby camp. Enjoy the luxury of our heated cabin to dry out your clothing and spend the evening cozy by the campfire. If you’re lucky, the northern lights may cover the sky. After a copious breakfast, you will head out back to the Capital.
